Thrust Bearing: Inspection
Check crankshaft end play with crankshaft bearing caps installed. Crankshaft end play is .004-.008" (.10-.20 mm). Maximum end play is .012" (.30 mm). Replace center main thrust bearing (upper and lower) if necessary.
