Stabilizer Bar: Removal

  1. Loosen wheel nuts slightly. Raise and support rear of vehicle. Remove wheels. Disconnect stabilizer link from control arm. See Figure.
  2. Wrap tape around stabilizer bar next to "U" bracket mountings. The tape will provide reassembly reference. Remove stabilizer bar "U" bracket bolts, "U" brackets and stabilizer bar.
