Master Cylinder: Reassembly

NOTE: As master cylinder is reassembled, lubricate parts with brake fluid.
  1. Install new seals on primary and secondary pistons. Install secondary piston. To prevent damage to seal lip, ease seal into master cylinder bore while slowly rotating and pushing.
  2. Install primary piston. To prevent damage to seal lip, ease seal into master cylinder bore while slowly rotating and pushing. Push primary piston into master cylinder bore and install washer and snap ring.
  3. Install new reservoir seals in master cylinder. Install reservoir. Install reservoir cap to prevent entry of dirt.
