Front Disc Brakes
The disc brake is a single piston, floating caliper design. The caliper assembly slides on 2 anchor pins which also act as the attaching bolts. The rotor is cast iron and ventilated with the cooling fins sandwiched between the braking surfaces. The wheel hub is not an integral part of the rotor. Each of the front brake pads have a brake wear sensor. If the brake pads wear to the sensor, a signal is sent and brake warning light on instrument panel comes on.
