Differential Seals - RH: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
  3. Remove the 7 screws and the underbody cover.

  4. Remove the drain plug and drain the transmission fluid.

  5. Remove the intermediate shaft. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL (FWD) and/or REMOVAL (AWD) .
  6. Using the Slide Hammer and RH Halfshaft Fluid Seal Remover, remove and discard the RH differential seal.
