Removal And Installation

  1. Release the fuel system pressure. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
  2. Disconnect the fuel pressure and temperature sensor electrical connector.
  3. Disconnect the fuel pressure and temperature sensor vacuum connector.
  4. Remove the bolts and the fuel pressure and temperature sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).
  5. Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
    • Install a new O-ring seal and lubricate with clean engine oil prior to installation.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
