Fuel Vapor Vent Valve: Installation

  1. Install the fuel vapor vent valve onto the EVAP canister bracket.
  2. Connect the fuel vapor tube quick connect coupling to the fuel vapor vent valve. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
  3. Install the EVAP canister assembly. For additional information, refer to EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CANISTER .
  4. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  5. Carry out the EVAP system leak test. For additional information, refer to EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LEAK TEST .
  6. Carry out the EVAP repair verification drive cycle. For additional information, refer to EVAPORATIVE EMISSION REPAIR VERIFICATION DRIVE CYCLE .
