Pinpoint Test O: DTC C1526 - Brake Pedal Travel Sensor Fault

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Mercury Mariner and 2006 Ford Escape. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multi-meter probes.
NOTE: The brake pedal position sensor is integral to the master cylinder. The brake pedal position sensor is not available separately and must be installed as an assembly.
NOTE: The ABS module is matched to the hydraulic control unit (HCU). The ABS module and HCU must be installed as an assembly.
