Removal and Installation

- Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister assembly. For additional information, refer to EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CANISTER .
- Disconnect the EVAP canister vent solenoid inlet and outlet vent tubes.
- Remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure. If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system.
- Carry out the Leak Test. For additional information, refer to EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LEAK TEST .
- Carry out the Evaporative Emission Repair Verification Drive Cycle. For additional information, REFER to the INTRODUCTION - GASOLINE article.
