Pinpoint Test C: DTC B2141

NOTE: When using the Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS), the IC  and the TCM  parameters are reset at the same time.
  1. C1 RESET THE IC AND THE TCM PARAMETERS 
    • Carry out the parameter reset procedure for both modules. Refer to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET .
    • Cycle the ignition several times, holding the key in both positions for a minimum of 3 seconds.
    • After cycling the ignition several times, does the vehicle start? 
    • Yes:  The system is OK. CHECK for any other DTCs. If any other PATS  -related DTCs are present, REFER to DTC CHARTS .
    • No:  GO to C2  .
  2. C2 RETRIEVE THE IC DTCs 
    • Turn the key to the OFF position for a minimum of 3 seconds.
    • Clear the DTCs.
    • Turn the key to the OFF position for a minimum of 3 seconds.
    • Ignition ON.
    • Retrieve the DTCs.
    • Is DTC B2141 retrieved?
