Normal Operation

The instrument cluster (IC) receives the electronic throttle control status from the PCM over the communication network. When a system concern is detected, the PCM sends the instrument cluster (IC) a command signal to illuminate the powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
