Removal And Installation

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
Remove the air cleaner. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING - 2.3L article.
Using the special tool, support the engine.

Remove the 4 LH transaxle support insulator bolts.
- To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
Remove the through bolt and the LH transaxle support insulator.
- To install, tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).
Remove the 3 nuts and the LH transaxle support insulator bracket.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
