Normal Operation

The instrument cluster (IC) sets DTC U0100 if data messages received from the PCM over the high speed controller area network (HS-CAN) are missing. For a complete list of all network messages, refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article.

NOTE: Once the instrument cluster (IC) sets DTC U0100, multiple gauges or indicators are likely to be inoperative in the cluster. Other modules that require data from the instrument cluster (IC) all set communication DTCs and may also exhibit system function concerns.
