Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION article.
  2. Disconnect the liftgate latch electrical connectors.
  3. Remove and discard the 3 liftgate latch bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

  4. Remove the liftgate latch.

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Lubricate the liftgate latch to striker surfaces after installation.
