Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the battery. For additional information, refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the battery tray fasteners.
    • Hybrid vehicles use 4 nuts.
    • All other vehicles use 1 bolt and 2 nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
  3. Remove the battery tray.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
