Removal and Installation

NOTICE: Do not spill brake fluid on painted or plastic surfaces or damage to the surface may occur. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, immediately wash the surface with water.

1. Remove the transaxle. For additional information, refer to Manual Transmission/Transaxle.

2. Disconnect the clutch slave cylinder-to-clutch hydraulic fluid tube adapter.

3. Remove the 3 clutch slave cylinder bolts and the clutch slave cylinder.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Bleed the air from the system. For additional information, refer to Manual Transmission/Transaxle &/or Clutch, M/T.
