The smart junction box (SJB) is also known as the generic electronic module (GEM).
- Verify the customer concern.
- Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

- Smart junction box (SJB) fuse 14 (10A)
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause before proceeding to the next step.
- If the fault is not visually evident, verify the symptom. Go to Symptom Chart .
