With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
Remove the splash shield retainers and remove the LH splash shield.

Remove the bolts and the lateral support crossmember.
- To install, tighten to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft).

Remove the lower insulator through bolt.
- To install, tighten to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft).

Remove the rear roll restrictor-to-crossmember through bolt.
- To install, tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).

Remove and discard the engine support crossmember nut. Remove the 2 engine support crossmember bolts.
- To install, tighten the new engine support crossmember nut to 175 Nm (129 lb-ft).
- To install, tighten the 2 engine support crossmember bolts to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).

Remove the engine support crossmember.
Remove the rear roll restrictor through bolt and remove the rear roll restrictor from the bracket.
- To install, tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
