Test Procedure

- TP1 CHECK FOR CORRECT TRACTION MOTOR RPM DURING THE ROAD TEST NOTE: Refer to the table at the beginning of this pinpoint test for correct traction motor to vehicle speed correlations.
- Clear the TCM DTCs.
- Access the TCM and monitor the M_SPEED PID.
- Access the TCM and monitor the VSS PID.
- Road test the vehicle.
- Record traction motor RPM at different vehicle speeds.
Does the traction motor RPM correspond with the vehicle speed?
Yes No GO to TP2. INSTALL a new transaxle assembly. REFER to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION EXTERNAL CONTROLS . - TP2 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTC)
Is DTC P0C2F present?
Yes No GO to PINPOINT TEST DP . Unable to duplicate or identify the concern at this time.
