Removal and Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the steering column opening cover. For additional information, refer to Instrument Panel - Exploded View in INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
  2. Remove the 3 screws and the lower steering column shroud.
  3. Remove the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) transceiver.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. NOTE: Replacement of the PATS transceiver does not require the PATS keys to be programmed into the Instrument Cluster (IC) again.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
