No communication with the Transmission Control Module (TCM)	Fuse(s) Wiring, terminals or connectors TCM	REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
The vehicle does not start - the vehicle cranks but the anti-theft indicator flashes rapidly at key ON	Incorrect TCM calibration TCM IC	REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION for the TCM calibration. TEST the system for normal operation. If the concern is still present, REFER to DTC CHARTS .
The vehicle does not start- the anti-theft indicator proves out for 3 seconds as normal, vehicle does not crank	TCM	CARRY OUT the TCM diagnostics. REFER to STARTING SYSTEM .
The vehicle does not start	Starting system concern Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) concern	GO to PINPOINT TEST J .
The anti-theft indicator is always/never on	IC	GO to PINPOINT TEST H .
