Transmission Fluid Cooler Hoses: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the lower air deflector.
  3. Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube quick connect secondary latches.
  4. Using the special tool, disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the tubes.

  6. Remove and discard the transmission fluid cooler hose-to-cooler clamps.
  7. Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the cooler.
  8. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the retainer.
