Transmission Support Crossmember: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
  2. Remove the catalytic converter. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM .
  3. Support the transmission with a transmission jack.
  4. Remove the transmission crossmember-to-floor pan screws.

  6. Remove the transmission insulator-to-extension housing center screw.

  8. Remove the transmission crossmember.
