Belt Tension Sensor (BTS)

The belt tension sensor (BTS) is part of the safety belt buckle on the front passenger seat only. It is part of the supplemental restraint system (SRS). It connects electrically to the passenger seat wiring harness. For diagnostic information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM article.
