Removal And Installation

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
- Drain the engine coolant. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING - HYBRID article.
- If removing a single hose from the heater core, remove the heater hose retainer.
- Release the clamps and remove the necessary heater hoses.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill and bleed the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING - HYBRID article.
NOTE:
To access the lower heater hose connections, remove the lower splash shield.
NOTE:
Lubricate the coolant hoses with water if needed.
