Pinpoint Test O: No Operation In High Blower Setting - Manual Climate Control

  1. O1 CHECK CIRCUIT 261 (OG/BK) FOR AN OPEN CIRCUIT 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect: Blower Motor Switch C294c
    • Key in ON position.
    • Turn the function selector switch to the FLOOR position.

    • Measure the voltage between blower motor switch connector C294c-2, circuit 261 (OG/BK) and ground.
    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 
    1. YES  : INSTALL a new blower motor switch. REFER to CLIMATE CONTROL article. TEST the system for normal operation.
    2. NO  : REPAIR circuit 261 (OG/BK) for an open circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
