Normal Operation

The safety belt switch is hardwired to the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster receives the safety belt switch status from the safety belt buckle switch on circuit 85 (BN/LB). The safety belt buckle switch is grounded on circuit 57 (BK). When the safety belt is unfastened, circuit 57 (BK) is grounded and sends a signal to the instrument cluster to illuminate the safety belt warning indicator.
