The instrument cluster receives voltage through circuit 210 (LB) when the four wheel drive (4WD) mode indicator switch is in the 4WD low position. The instrument cluster receives voltage through circuit 975 (BN/YE) when the 4WD mode indicator switch is in the 4WD high position.
Possible Causes
- Instrument cluster configuration
- Circuit 210 (LB) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit 975 (BN/YE) open, short to ground or voltage
- Mode select switch
- 4WD control module
- Instrument cluster
