Pinpoint Test W: The Trailer Lamps Are Inoperative - All

CAUTION: Use the correct probe adaptor(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adaptor(s) may damage the connector.
  1. W1 CHECK CIRCUIT 206 (WH) FOR AN OPEN 
    • Disconnect: Trailer Tow C4098 (4-Pin)
    • Disconnect: Trailer Tow C4099 (7-Pin)

    • Measure the resistance between the trailer tow C4098-4, circuit 206 (WH) (4-pin connector), harness side and ground; or the trailer tow C4099-2, circuit 206 (WH) (7-pin connector), harness side and ground.
    • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 
    1. YES  : The vehicle is operating correctly. SEND the trailer to an authorized camper/trailer repair facility.
    2. NO  : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
