Brake Shift Interlock Actuator - Floor Shift: Removal

Remove the floor console left side kick panel.

Lift the console storage lid cover and remove the console finish panel.

Disconnect the transmission selector lever cable from the arm of the transmission selector lever.

Disconnect the transmission selector lever cable from the transmission selector lever cable bracket on the transmission selector lever.

Remove the transmission selector lever bolts.

Disconnect the transmission selector lever electrical connector and remove the selector lever from the vehicle.

Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the overdrive cancel button electrical connector.
- Cut the tie strap holding the wire harness to the base of the selector lever.

Remove the brake shift interlock actuator.
- Remove the bulb from the housing
- Cut the tie strap from the wire harness.
- Remove the 2 screws and remove the brake shift interlock actuator.
