Removal And Installation

Remove the rear door trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION article.
Position the watershield aside.
Remove the 3 upper door latch bolts.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
Remove the 3 latch remote control assembly bolts.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
Remove the 3 lower door latch bolts.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
Release the actuating rod from the rear door interlock.

Remove the latch remote control assembly.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the upper and lower rear door latches after installation.
