Normal Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Mercury Milan, 2006 Lincoln Zephyr, and 2006 Ford Fusion. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Upon receiving a signal from the electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module, the heated seat module will decrease one setting (the sequence is HI, LO, OFF, HI, etc.). When the driver heated seat is set to HI, both LED indicators above the driver heated seat control button will illuminate. When the driver heated seat is set to LO, only the left LED on the driver heated seat indicator will illuminate. When the driver heated seat is set to OFF, neither driver heated seat LED will illuminate.
