Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  2. Position the watershield aside.
  3. Disconnect the actuating rods from the latch remote control.

    4. NOTE: Use the special tool to install the new rivets.
  4. Remove the 2 rivets and the exterior rear door handle.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
