Normal Operation - Without Daytime Running Lamps (DRL)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Ford F550 Super Duty, 2006 Ford F450 Super Duty, and 2006 Ford Cab & Chassis. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

When the headlamp switch is placed in the headlamps ON position, voltage is routed to the multifunction switch through circuit 15 (RD/YE). The multifunction switch then routes the voltage to the central junction box (CJB) through circuit 632 (GY/OG) (high beams) or circuit 13 (RD/BK) (low beams). The CJB then routes the voltage to the high beam headlamps through circuit 12 (LG/BK) or to the low beam headlamps through circuit 160 (DB/WH) (LH low beam) and circuit 161 (DG/OG) (RH low beam).
