Normal Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Ford F550 Super Duty, 2006 Ford F450 Super Duty, and 2006 Ford Cab & Chassis. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The headlamp switch receives voltage from the central junction box (CJB) fuse 7 (30A) through circuit 196 (DB/OG). When the headlamp switch is placed in the headlamps ON position, voltage is routed to the multifunction switch through circuit 15 (RD/YE). The multifunction switch then routes the voltage to the headlamps through the CJB.
