Normal Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Ford Pickup, 2006 Ford F550 Super Duty, 2006 Ford F450 Super Duty, and 2006 Ford Cab & Chassis. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The adjustable pedal switch receives fused battery voltage through central junction box (CJB) fuse 1 and delivers this voltage to the adjustable pedal motor along circuit 1567 (RD/LB). The voltage is then delivered to the adjustable pedal motor along circuits 1489 (LB/BK) and 1490 (LB/OG). To move the pedal forward, the voltage passes through circuit 1489 (LB/BK), the adjustable pedal motor, through circuit 1490 (LB/OG), into the adjustable pedal switch and finally to ground through circuit 57 (BK). To move the pedal rearward, the voltage passes through circuit 1490 (LB/OG), the adjustable pedal motor, through circuit 1489 (LB/BK), into the adjustable pedal switch and finally to ground through circuit 57 (BK).
