The longitudinal accelerometer is contained in the sensor cluster. The sensor cluster measures the vehicle acceleration and deceleration and then sends the signal over the controller area network (CAN) communication lines to the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module. Voltage is supplied by circuit 1576 (TN/BK). Ground is provided through circuit 1575 (BK/WH). The CAN communication is transmitted through circuit 1814 (WH/LB) and circuit 1815 (PK/LB).
