Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  2. Position the watershield aside.
  3. Disconnect the door lock actuator electrical connector.
  4. Remove the door lock actuator rivet.
  5. Remove the door lock actuator.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Use the special tool to install the new rivets.
