Removal and Installation

NOTE: Driver door shown, passenger door similar.
  1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the exterior mirror cover.
    3. CAUTION: Use care not to damage the trim panel when removing the interior door handle.
  3. Remove the door handle cup screw cover, screw and door handle and cup.
    4. CAUTION: Use a shop towel or similar material between the tool and the front door trim panel or damage to the front door trim panel may occur.
  4. Release the window control switch plate from the front door trim panel, and disconnect the window regulator switch electrical connectors.
  5. Remove the 4 front door trim panel screws and position the front door trim panel aside.
  6. Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors and remove the front door trim panel.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
