Normal Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis and 2006 Ford Crown Victoria. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The lighting control module (LCM) monitors the driver door disarm switch status. The driver door disarm switch is located on the driver door lock cylinder and grounds circuit 25 (DG/VT) through the switch to circuit 57 (BK) to disarm the system. The ajar switches are monitored by the driver door module (DDM).
