Removal and Installation

- Remove the fuel tank. For additional information, refer to FUEL TANK & LINES .
- Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the grade vent valve from the fuel tank.
- Disconnect the 4 fuel vapor control tube assembly valve retainer clips from the fuel tank.
- Remove and discard the clamp.
- Install a new crimp style clamp upon installation.
- Remove the vapor control tube assembly valve from the fuel tank.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure. If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system.
- Leak test the system. For additional information, refer to EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM LEAK TEST .
- Carry out the evaporative emission repair verification drive cycle. For additional information, REFER to the INTRODUCTION - GASOLINE article.

NOTE:
Lubricate all O-ring seals with clean engine oil.
