Normal Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Mercury Montego, 2005 Ford Freestyle, and 2005 Ford Five Hundred. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The delayed accessory relay, which is integral to the smart junction box (SJB), receives power from the central junction box (CJB) through circuit 905 (GY/LB). When the ignition key is turned ON, the SJB activates the delayed accessory relay, which provides power to the LH front window control switch through circuit 1499 (PK/LG). The delayed accessory feature remains active for 10 minutes after the ignition key is turned OFF, or until either front door is opened.
