Vehicles with dual generator

  1. Remove the accessory drive belt.

  3. Remove the bolt and the accessory drive belt tensioner.
    • To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

  5. Remove the accessory drive belt.

  7. Remove the bolts, bracket and the accessory drive belt idler pulley.
    • To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

  9. Remove the bolts and the accessory drive belt tensioner.
    • To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

  11. Disconnect the wire retainer, generator electrical connector and B+ wire.
    • To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

  13. Remove the bolts and generator with mounting bracket.
    • To install, tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
