Removal & Installation

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Partially drain cooling system. Disconnect Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector and remove ECT from engine. See Fig 1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten ECT sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill and bleed cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM .
