Front Disc Brake Pads: Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
  2. Remove disc brake caliper locating pins. See Figure .
  3. Remove caliper and support caliper from the front strut and spring assembly using mechanics wire.
  4. Remove outboard disc brake pad. Remove inboard disc brake pad. See Fig 1 .
