Test O: Low Washer Fluid Indicator Inoperative
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect washer fluid level switch 2-pin harness connector C111 at washer fluid reservoir. Measure resistance between washer fluid level switch terminals. If resistance is 5 ohms or less with float depressed and greater than 10 k/ohms with float released, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms with float depressed or 10 k/ohms or less with float released, replace washer fluid level switch.
- Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 1 (Black wire) at washer fluid level switch harness connector C111. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect instrument cluster harness connector C266b. Measure resistance of Green/Black wire between terminal No. 2 at washer fluid level switch harness connector C111 and terminal No. 1 at instrument cluster harness connector C266c. See Figure. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace instrument cluster printed circuit. See PRINTED CIRCUIT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Green/Black wire.
