Brake Pedal Depressed Height

With engine running and brake pedal depressed by a force of 110 lbs. (49 kg), measure brake pedal distance from brake pedal pad to floor panel. See Figure . Pedal depressed height should be 4.53-5.12" (115-130 mm). If brake pedal depressed height is not within specification, check for air in brake system, malfunction of rear brake shoe automatic adjuster, or worn brake pads or shoes.
