Distance To Empty

Distance to empty is calculated by using average fuel economy over the last 200-300 miles, and current amount of fuel remaining in tank. When distance to empty is less than 50 miles, the fuel computer overrides the current display function and flashes distance to empty display for 5 seconds. The display repeats at 25 and 10 miles.
