Test T: Low Fuel Indicator Never/Always On

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect instrument cluster connectors C276 and C274. See Figure and Figure . Measure resistance of Pink/White wire between instrument cluster connector C276 terminal No. 15 and connector C274 terminal No. 8. Resistance should be less than 5 ohms.
  2. Measure resistance of Pink/White wire between ground and instrument cluster connector C276 terminal No. 15. Resistance should be more than 10,000 ohms. If resistance is as specified, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If resistances are not as specified, repair open or short in Pink/White wire.
