Test K: Low Fuel Indicator Light Never/Always On

NOTE: If low fuel warning light is always on, start test at step 2).
  1. Turn ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  in REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove low fuel warning light bulb and check continuity of bulb. If bulb is okay, go to next step. If bulb is bad, replace bulb and retest system. 2). Reinstall low fuel warning light bulb. Measure continuity between instrument cluster connector C268 terminal No. 2 (Blue wire) and fuel indicator module terminal No. 1. See Figure - Figure . If continuity exists, replace fuel indicator module. Retest system. If continuity does not exist, replace instrument cluster printed circuit. See PRINTED CIRCUIT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
